More information

Ted is the host of “Chopped,” the Food Network series Esquire magazine calls “the most aggressive cooking show on television.”

In each one-hour episode, passion and expertise rule the kitchen as four up-and-coming chefs turn a selection of mystery ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal. After each course is evaluated, a contestant is “chopped” until the last man or woman standing claims victory—and takes home the $10,000 prize.

Each week, a rotating panel of judges—including chefs Scott Conant, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, Marc Murphy, Aaron Sanchez, Chris Santos and Geoffrey Zakarian—decides whose dishes shine the brightest. Episodes air every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
